Three weeks of fieldwork in Volubilis involved the study of 48 human skeletons. Valuable help was provided by a number of participants to the Volubilis Archaeological Project, directed by Drs Elizabeth Fentress, Corisande Fenwick, and Hassan Limane. Special mention should be made to Imane Qouti, Moroccan PhD student, who worked hard as a trainee throughout data collection.
